What are the official Machu Picchu entrance circuits for 2025?

From 2025, Machu Picchu has 5 official circuits, each offering different routes and access points:

  • Circuit 1 – Panoramic Route: only allows access to the upper part of Machu Picchu, reaching the Guardian’s House. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Inca city from a distance. However, this circuit does not allow entry to the temples or internal exploration of Machu Picchu. Does not include Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
  • Circuit 2 – Classic Route (Recommended): you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Inca city and the most complete tour inside the citadel, covering the main temples and plazas. Ideal for those wanting an in-depth visit.
