Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

The trip starts with the pick up from your hotel around 4:00 am, then the transportation will take you to Ollantaytambo trip that lasts approximately 2 hours.
At this point you will board the train of your choice (expeditions train, vistadome train, vistadome observatory train or 360° train) taking a trip through the sacred valley until you reach the town of Machu Picchu called Aguas Calientes.
At the train terminal in Aguas Calientes our transfer will be waiting for you to assist you and help you with the reservation of a ticket to buy the entrance to Machu Picchu.
After this process our transfer will accompany you to the hotel so you can settle in and get some rest because you will have to return to buy the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu that you booked previously.
You will also return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 2 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

The 2nd day of the trip to Machu Picchu starts very early exactly at 5:30 am having breakfast at the hotel and then approaching the bus station to board one of them heading to the citadel of Machu Picchu trip that lasts about half an hour.
The bus will leave you at the checkpoint where you must show your tickets and your original credentials to enter, and inside our guide will be waiting for you to have a guided tour of the entire complex and enjoy the wonderful of Machu Picchu.

The Inka jungle was incredible. A wonderful experience that will be unforgettable. Our guide Guille is a genius!! He told us a lot about Inka history, during the trek we tried different fruits along the way and he taught us about them, fried animal plants. I highly recommend. The entire activity was phenomenal.   SAP probably provides the best value-for--money tours in Cusco. I booked the Inca Jungle and Sacred Valley tours with them.
They are extremely responsive on whassap, at whatever time - this cannot be taken for granted with tour agents in Peru.
On the Sacred Valley tour we had a good guy that provided a bilingual tour. The lunch buffet was fantastic, especially if you are vegetarian.
Lidman both booked and guided me on the Inca Jungle trip. He made sure to take into account my needs with food and anything else.
I was impressed with the level of protection provided for the biking part. For other activities they worked with partners that also provided fantastic services (I had done the same activities elsewhere and could compare).
Food on the trip is standard at the different stops whatever agency you go with. The accommodation I had was much better than expected - simple but clean. The team gave me the best advice of queuing for the complete ticket the day before because I had not purchase the entry to Machu Picchu in advance - the queue was short and I got an early-morning ticket fine. They also sorted out a guide for Machu Picchu for me on the spot and coordinated the train ticket as well as bus pick-up without any hiccup.
